About First Line Coastal

Wherever the land meets the sea, you will find First Line Coastal. Our staff has dedicated their careers to designing, building, and managing coastal, marine, and estuarine projects throughout the United States. We are passionate about our work and aim to be “just a little different”. By combining traditional engineering principles with real-world expertise, we aim to deliver best-in-class value for our clients. For those who know us well, you will recognize our story in our name and logo.

Our History

First Line Coastal has been serving the coastal engineering market since 2019. In January 2023, the company expanded to provide a full suite of coastal engineering services. First Line’s partners include a core group who previously developed and operated a successful coastal program together at a large international firm. Our officers have been working together for most of their careers, some of us for over 20 years. Our teammates come from a variety of backgrounds as engineers, scientists, industry managers, and agency staff. We deliberately seek diversity in thought and expertise to challenge traditional approaches for improved designs.
