Founding Partner & Coastal Engineer

Jake Pierson is a founding partner and Coastal Engineer at First Line Coastal. Jake began his career at a global consulting firm where his time was primarily spent in the field gaining hands on experience for projects big and small throughout the state of Florida.

Jake has since transitioned into a design role where he is able to tap into his expertise and directly apply his boots on the ground experience to improve constructability during design. With more than 30 coastal projects under his belt, Jake has served roles in all phases of the project life cycle including design, permitting, construction, physical and biological monitoring. The projects that get Jake most excited are those which he is able to see through from conception to completion and watch his designs come to life.
